Michael Truchard
Founder, Head of R&D
Michael has more than 30 years of experience in full-stack software design and implementation – as engineer, manager and technology leader. He has been an early mover and driving force in cloud-based services in the Test & Measurement Industry. Michael is the architect and visionary behind Sapling’s data platform, the Loki Cloud OS. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
Richard Sayles
Founder, Head of Data Analytics
Richard has spent the last 10 years working with attorneys and data. From false claims to class action to privacy, Richard has seen a wide breadth of legal matters and technical use cases. Prior to his legal technology experience, Richard spent 15 years leading and contributing to business programs, analysis and software development for a variety of teams and organizations. Richard has built a track record of delivering impactful solutions, a creative appproach and strategic perspective. As co-founder Richard guides the product vision and oversees all client services. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from The University of Texas at Austin – Red McCombs School of Business.
