Michael has more than 30 years of experience in full-stack software design and implementation – as engineer, manager and technology leader. He has been an early mover and driving force in cloud-based services in the Test & Measurement Industry. Michael is the architect and visionary behind Sapling’s data platform, the Loki Cloud OS. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
John has more than 30 years of experience in high-tech software product marketing, product management, and digital marketing. Over his career, he’s been responsible for new product introductions, campaigns, demand generation, and enterprise ecommerce teams. John leads Sapling Data Marketing and Product Management. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University. He enjoys following all A&M sports teams, playing golf, and walking his Labradoodle Murphy (all enjoyable, yet frustrating hobbies).
Amy has a background in Software Dev and QA. She likes to play classical guitar and bake cupcakes.
Chris is Sapling Data’s most senior data geek. She enjoys working on complex multi-faceted problems and has a long history and expertise working with data. Current focus at Sapling Data is forensic data analytics and healthcare compliance monitoring. She has over 30 years of experience in data-oriented systems design & development, business applications implementations, master data management, data architecture/quality/analytics at National Instruments, GMF Robotics, and Digital Equipment Corp, Ben & Jerry’s Homemade Inc and Whole Foods Market. Chris’ favorite out-of-the-office activities are studying theology, cooking for her family, and playing with her new puppy Jonesy.
Richard has more than 20 years of experience as Business Analysis Leader in large as well as small organizations. Before co-founding Sapling Data he had built a track record of delivering impactful data solutions for global sales and marketing organizations. As co-founder Richard is spearheading all aspects of client delivery and client success. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from The University of Texas at Austin – Red McCombs School of Business.
Kevin is a startup software junkie with over 20 years in the technology industry. He has worked in all facets of post-sales service and support and has extensive experience delivering enterprise class software and services to clients. At Sapling, Kevin leads the Client Delivery team to drive value and a positive experience for clients. Kevin attended Carnegie Mellon University and now lives in Austin, Texas with his wife and five children.
Caitlin is a software engineer with fifteen years’ experience at the keyboard. She picked up programming in high school and never looked back, culminating in her graduation from the University of Texas with a bachelor’s degree in computer science. Her professional work has focused on producing smooth and powerful front-end experiences. In her spare time, she looks after a household that includes two dogs, sixty fish, and, most recently, a new baby.
Anna holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas and a Masters of Philosophy from Trinity University, Dublin. She joined Sapling Data 2016, previously holding positions in marketing, finance and social work. In her spare time she likes to spend time with family and friends, travel, and sing – performing in the choir behind Andrea Boccelli is one of her favourite shows to date!
